Guided tour around Olomouc historical inner city
We cordially invite you on Friday 16th November 2012 in time 1:30 p.m. to 2:30p.m. to the accompaying conference program, which will include a quided sightseeing tour of the Olomouc city center and its most important monuments. You will perform Mgr. Martina Kovářová, a graduate of the Department of Theory and History of Fine Arts, Palacky University in Olomouc.
The sightseeing tour will start in the courtyard of former Jesuit monastery and will be followed by viewing Sarkandrinum and church of st. Michael. After that we will move to the Lower Square, to see Marian collumn, Jupiter and Neptune fountain and you will be told briefly to the adjoing sacred buildings. Than we will continue to the Upper Square with commentary on the history of the Holy Trinity column, Town Hall and and other fountains. Our journey will end with a visit of st. Maurice church.
